With the coming of spring, hope springs eternal. That's what I’ve been told all my life. This spring the hope of being able to sit down in front of a person at the Social Security Administration office has sprung to life. Starting April 7, 2022, the local Social Security Offices are now open to the public. The SSA would still like for you to make an appointment but an appointment is not mandatory. Some cautions may be in place regarding social distancing and mask requirements. Additionally, not all SSA offices may be open. But the good news is that the SSA office is or will be open for regular business.
